Today, over 40 years later, we have more than 350 employees, over 3,000 products and five manufacturing facilities to better serve our customers needs. Our home office is in Greensboro, North Carolina. We also have locations in Elkhart, Indiana; Portland, Oregon; Leominster, Massachusetts and our newest facility in Beilun, China.

Business North Carolina Magazine Recognizes Camco Manufacturing as one of the State’s Top 100
Privately Held Companies

Camco Manufacturing Incorporated has been named as one of Business North Carolina magazine’s Top 100 privately held companies six years running. Camco jumped up the ranks this year to number 56 from 77 in last year’s revenue-based rankings compiled by the international accounting firm Grant Thornton. Oak Ridge, NC native Donald Caine founded Camco in 1966 with one part-time employee and one product. Today, Camco has more than 250 employees, over 3000 products and five manufacturing facilities (Greensboro, NC, Reidsville, NC, Elkhart, IN, Portland, OR and Boston, MA). Camco is a leading manufacturer of products for the recreational vehicle, residential plumbing and hardware, automotive fluids, and marine industries while continuing to produce its original product, non-toxic fresh water antifreeze. Kuuma Products

Greensboro, NC, July 14, 2011—Camco Manufacturing, Inc., a leading manufacturer of RV and marine accessories, announced today that it had acquired selected assets of Kuuma Innovations, LLC, a manufacturer of specialty stainless steel barbeque grills and marine hot water heaters. Kuuma’s high‐end electric and propane grills were initially designed for the marine market but have also found wide demand in the RV and tailgating markets in the last few years. Kuuma’s water heaters are legendary in the marine market for their quality and performance. Mark Vertanen, one of the original Kuuma founders, will continue on with Camco working both with the Kuuma brand and product development. Kuuma, translated in Finnish as “hot,” is currently headquartered in San Leandro, CA. Those offices will shift shortly to Camco’s corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC. Keith Cook, Camco’s Vice President of Sales, commented, “We are extremely excited to have Mark Vertanen, along with his wife Karen, and the Kuuma brand join our Camco family.
